- This is our Family Practice clinic for medical care.
First Saturday of the Month Clinic
- For illness and for those folks employed and cannot receive health care during regular business hours
Dental Clinic
- For dental emergency, sign in at the Primary Care Clinic and first see a physician, who will refer you to the Dental Clinic.
- The Dental Clinic staff will contact you when they have an opening available.
- Current waiting time for an appointment is 6 to 8 months.
- Another alternative for care is University of Iowa Dental Clinic: (319)335-7447.
- Eye Clinic
- Provides care for medical eye conditions as well as routine eye exams at no cost. Free eye glasses are generally not provided.
- A prescription for glasses can often be given as part of the exam, but the purchase of glasses usually will be the patient's responsibility.
- Sign up by asking a staff or volunteer and you will be contacted with an appointment.
- Women's Clinic (Pap Smears and Breast Examination)
- No sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing or routine medical care is available at this clinic.
- Register for this clinic through the staff person at the front desk during the Primary Care Clinic. A volunteer will call you with the clinic time and date approximately one week before your appointment.
- Mammography Clinic
- Any breast lumps should be examined promptly in the Primary Care Clinic.
- Routine Mammograms are ordered after a breast examination in the Women's Clinic.
- "Especially for You" funds are available to pay for mammograms, but you must apply for them. Speak with a nurse regarding the forms needed to apply for these funds.
- Osteoporosis Screening Clinic
- Register for this clinic through the staff person at the front desk during the Primary Care Clinic hours.
- This heel bone density screening for osteoporosis is held monthly and consists of a heel bone ultrasound examination.
- Podiatry Clinic
- Register for this clinic through the staff person at the front desk during the Primary Care Clinic.
- This specialized foot care clinic is held monthly on a Wednesday afternoon.
- Sports and School Physicals
- This special clinic is held once a year only -
First Wednesday of August from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Physicals may also be performed at any Primary Care Clinic.
