When you need to see a doctor or dentist soon, but it’s not an emergency, the Community Health Free Clinic in Cedar Rapids can help. You don’t need an appointment for our walk-in services. Just come during our clinic hours. We see patients in the order they arrive.

Conditions We Treat

Come to the walk-in clinic for urgent care of:

  • Cough
  • Earache
  • Pink eye
  • Rash
  • Sinus congestion (stuffy nose)
  • Sore throat
  • Sprains and strains
  • Toothache
  • Urinary tract infection

Help for Chronic Conditions

You also can get help with some chronic (long-term) diseases, like:

  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • And others

Covid-19 Vaccinations

We offer walk-in Covid-19 vaccines. Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective. They teach your body how to fight the coronavirus—and protect you from getting very sick.

Services We Do NOT Offer

Community Health Free Clinic does NOT provide these services:

  • Erectile dysfunction treatment
  • Opioid addiction treatment
  • Paperwork for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), leave of absence, or disability benefits
  • Pregnancy care
  • Prescriptions for controlled substances (for example, opioids, stimulants and depressants)
  • Physical exams, including DOT physicals and MMA physicals
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STIs) testing and treatment
  • Treatment for workplace injuries
  • Veterans health care benefits
